WETHERELL, Ross E., Sr., 69, of New Alexandria, OH, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, in Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.
He was born Feb. 23, 1943, in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late John F. and Clarice C. (Ball) Wetherell.
Ross was a dairy farmer at the Wetherell Farm, which he owned and operated with his two sons. He was also a gravedigger at the New Alexandria Cemetery. Ross was a member of the New Alexandria United Methodist Church and the Farm Bureau. He especially enjoyed spending time and playing with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce (Reinacher) Wetherell, whom he married Dec. 15, 1973; two sons, Ross E. (Carrie) Wetherell, Jr. and Duayne (Monica) Wetherell; two brothers, John E. (Roxie) Wetherell and James "Robert" (Patty) Wetherell; and three grandchildren, DJ, Andrew and Delia Wetherell, all of New Alexandria, Ohio.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, where his services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jimm Woods, officiating. Interment will follow at New Alexandria Cemetery.
