CRABTREE, Harold "Hoople," 87, of Wells burg, WV, passed away Aug. 7, 2012, at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV.
He was born, April 14, 1924, in Wellsburg to the late Harold and Audrey Biram Crabtree.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Wellsburg with over 30 years of service. He also served as the Union Steward for the postal workers. He was also a avid golfer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Diana Tate Crabtree whom passed in April 29, 2012, three brothers Edgar, Wilfred "Fats" and Ronald "Squeek" Crabtree also three infant brothers and one infant sister.
He is survived by his son, Greg Crabtree and his wife, Cynthia "Cindy," two daughters, Janeen Markos and her husband, Manuel, and Terry Adams both of Wellsburg, WV, a brother, John "Moe" Crabtree Sr. of Wellsburg and one sister, Donna Blake of Wellsburg, four grandchildren, Ronnie Adams, Rachel McCombs, Jennifer Bober, Jason Crabtree and nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 10 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home, 1515 Charles St., Wellsburg where services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joy Leasure officiating. Interment will be at Brooke Cemetery, Wellsburg.
