KOUGH, James L. 69, of Richmond, OH, passed away Wednesday Aug. 8, 2012, at his home.
He was born April 27, 1943, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Lester and Elsie Kough.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Taylor.

He was a member and trustee of Kolmont Community Church.
James was a member of Mingo Sportsman Club, GKL Sportsman Club, Ohio Valley Mopar Club, and WPC Club.
He collected antique clocks, guns, and antique cars (Mopar) only except a 1975 Voltswagon. James was a hunter and fisherman.
James was first employed at Spahns Dairy. He retired after 30 years from Weirton Steel and retired after 10 years from H and K Heavy Equipment of Coraopolis, PA.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years married Oct. 23, 1963, Wilma (Bailey) Kough of Richmond, OH; children, Thomas (Donna) Kough of Richmond, OH; Kristine (Scott) Byers of Richmond, OH; and Joi (Cam) Cadile of Steubenville, OH; grandchildren, Kaylee Kough, Jordan Noviski, Zach Kough, Kirstie Byers, Scott Byers II, Logan Noviski, and Emily Kough; and sisters, Betsy (Robert) Slivka of Steubenville, OH, Judith (Guy) Cone of Portland, OR, Jackie (Frank) Featner of Mingo Jct., OH, Cherrie Kough of Toronto, OH, and Kaye (Bill) Phillips of Brilliant, OH.
James was a kind, loving, husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He was loved and will be sadly missed by many family members and friends.
Friends will be received on Friday from 3-9 p.m. at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Road, Wintersville, where funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sam Retzer officiating.
Burial will follow at Richmond Union Cemetery Memorial contributions may be made to Kolmont Community Church or Charity Hospice.
