CROCE, Dorothy Rita, 99 of Follansbee, WV., passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.
She was born on August 4, 1913, in Ridgeway, PA, a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Guilia (Novelli) D'Aurora.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Gaetano Croce, two sons, Dominic Lawrence Croce and Nicholas Edward Croce, two brothers, Patsy and Edward D'Aurora, three sisters, Mary Marzano, Natalena Ranalli, and Concetta Settimio and a grandson, Jeffrey Sabo.

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, and Sisters of the Garibaldi. She was also a volunteer at the Brooke County Senior Center in Follansbee, WV.
Surviving are her two sons, Vince (Judy) Croce of Follansbee, WV and Guy (Barbara) Croce of Huntsville, AL.; two daughters- in-law, Ellen Croce and Mary Catherine Croce both of Follansbee, WV.; six sisters, Lucy Rotellini of Tamarack, FL, Anna J. D'Aurora of Follansbee, WV, Antoinette Spataro of Tamarack, FL, Dr. Julia (Ray) Bannon of St. Clairsville, OH, Donna (Vince) Scarnecchia of Dennis, MA, and Carmella "Dee Dee" Partan of Dennis, MA.; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 17th from 2-8 p.m. and again on Saturday, August 18th from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 18th at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Follansbee, WV with Msgr. Paul Hudock as celebrant and Fr. Pete Giannamore, Fr. Jack Federico, and Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati as concelebrants. Vigil services will be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Follansbee, WV
