"We're encouraging the wonderful ladies in our community to support our United Way by registering now for a great day of golf."

The day's events include a continental breakfast, lunch, dinner, skill contests, a Chinese auction and prizes for everyone.

According to Executive Director Kristin Bowman-Cross, the United Way is still looking for sponsors and those throughout the community looking to contribute any kind of prize or monetary donation in support of the event.

"We greatly appreciate all of what the community does for us as well as those volunteering and participating in the tournament this year," stated Cross.

The host sponsor for the 2012 All-Women's Golf Challenge is First Choice America Community Federal Credit Union.

The Weirton United Way works to support 15 member agencies from the Weirton area.
