MILLER, Robert M. "Bob," 89, of Follansbee, WV., passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.
Born on May 10, 1923, he was a son of the late Robert Stewart and Ida Mae (Brownlee) Miller.
He graduated from Avella High School.
Robert retired with over 35 years of service with Weirton Steel Corporation, where he worked as a degasser operator. He was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 year club.
He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Follansbee, WV.
Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Susan (Jerger) Miller, whom he married on September 16, 1953; two children, Robert Louis (Maryann) Miller and Linda Miller Black, both of Weirton, WV; a brother, Harry B. (Ruth) Miller of Washington, PA; five grandchildren, Andrea Miller, Ryan Miller, Robert Miller, Harry Black, and Kelli Black; and one great-grandson, Isaac Miller .
Friends will be received on Friday, Aug. 24, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and again on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St., Follansbee, WV, with Rev. Coleen Molinaro, officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery in Colliers, WV.
