YORKO, Alberta Louise, 90, of New Cumberland, WV, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Weirton Medical Center.
She was born August 16, 1922, in Hollidays Cove, WV, a daughter of the late Ellis and Charlotte (Parrish) Glover.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Walter Yorko, in 1996, a son, Ronald Joseph Yorko; four brothers, Herman, Irel Tony, Howard J. and Clovis J. "Peck" Glover; five sisters, Ethel Truax, Myrtle Huffman, Dorothy Shephard, Connie Yost and Virginia Reese.
Alberta was a former baker at Mountaineer Race Track and a homemaker.
Surviving are her children, Thomas Gerald Yorko, of Toronto, OH; Brenda Koski and Francine (Edward) Moore, both of New Cumberland, WV; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at the Turley Funeral Home.
Services will be Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 1 p.m. with Interment to follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.
