PROSSER, Timothy D. "Tim," 63, of Steubenville, OH., died Saturday, August 25, 2012 at his residence of complications from MS and Lewy Body Dementia.
He was born in Weirton, WV on September 18, 1948, a son of the late William and Mary Cumberledge Prosser.
Tim was a well known science teacher in the Hancock County School System for his live animals and was featured in West Virginia Magazine. He was a member of Paris (PA) Sportsmans Club.
Tim is survived by his wife, Janet "Lynn" Moorhead Prosser; son, Aaron Prosser of Wellsburg; stepchildren, Tracy Cavanaugh and her companion, Don Buike of Steubenville, Gunnery Sgt. Jacob (Cheryl) Cavanaugh of North Carolina and Jessica Cavanaugh of Weirton; two grandchildren Mackenzie and Nicaiah Cavanaugh; two sisters, Gina Ohalek and Nancy Prosser both of Weirton and his Maltese puppy, Einstein.
Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home, 611 N. Fourth Street, Steubenville on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Private burial.
