STEUBENVILLE - The Catholic Central volleyball team earned a 25-9, 25-7, 25-9 victory over visiting Toronto Thursday.
For the Crusaders, Maddy Gulan led the way with nine kills, seven points and two blocks. Rachel Antonelli added four kills and three points, Monica Rigaud four kills and two blocks, Rachel Rigaud four kills, Monica Fischer 18 points and two kills and Jenna Ogden 15 sets and five points.
Robyn Runkel delivered 33 sets and seven points, Kamy Belardine three kills, five points and four saves and Tori Knight two kills.

Cari Horne had three kills, Lisa Scalley two kills and Miranda Robinson three assists for the Red Knights (0-2).
"The bottom line is that we played terribly," said Toronto coach Chelsey Fletcher. "You cannot win if you do not move four feet and communicate. You cannot win when only half the team shows up to play.
"On a positive note, we know what we are working on in practice."
Big Reds sweep Huskies
BELLAIRE - The Harrison Central volleyball team dropped a 25-15, 25-18, 25-17 decision to host Bellaire on Thursday.
Katie Stackhouse paced the Huskies with five aces and seven digs. Janese Eckley eight digs and Lesley Decker five digs.
Bruins beat Patriots
WELLSBURG - The Brooke volleyball team dropped the first set to visiting Wheeling Park only to rebound and take the next three in its 17-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-21 win Thursday.
Samantha Mazzone had nine assists with Angela Staffileno adding eight kills, five assists and seven blocks for Brooke. Brooke Murdock had three kills and 11 assists, Tiffany Rosnick two kills and two digs, Emiley Stuck two kills and 18 digs, with Amber Isinghood adding two kills. Kourtney Leonard had 10 kills, two assists and six digs, while Isabella Preston chipped in with three kills, two assists and eight digs.
