Theft: Vehicle entered in the 900 block of Longford Boulevard and laptop computer taken, Tuesday.

Cited: Johnny E. Gilbert, 49, 701 Oakmont Ave., no dog registration; and Dana L. Haines, 38, 107 Third St., Yorkville, expired registration.

Theft: GPS unit taken from vehicle in the 500 block of Ross Street, Tuesday.

Arrested: Matthew J. Lancaster, 24, no fixed address, bench warrant out of municipal court, Tuesday.

Shot fired: Report of a shot fired around 9:48 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Foster Place and Kendall Avenue but police found no evidence of a shot fired.

Arrested: Courtney N. Roe, 20, 706 N. Fifth St., bench warrant out of municipal court, Tuesday.

Arrested: Joey Cochran, no age listed, 415 Engle St., Weirton, bench warrant out of Coshocton County, Tuesday.

Arrested: Carl Ferguson, 35, 151 Wildon Ave., bench warrant out of municipal court, today.

Arrested: Ashley Hayes, 28, Apartment 405, 707 Market St., contempt of court and possession of drug paraphernalia, today.

Cited: Amy Smith, 54, 822 Buena Vista Blvd., Steubenville, speeding; Jessica Hardsouk, 24, 140 township Road 285, Toronto, speeding and driving with suspended license; and Amanda M. Ashton, 32, Coraopolis, Pa., speeding.

Arrested: Anthony Z. Ferguson, 26, 231 Rex Ave., Wintersville, warrant out of Fairfield County, Tuesday.

Arrested: Norman L. LeMasters, 65, 212 Brookview Drive, Follansbee, driving under the influence, Tuesday.

Arrested: Melissa M. Bowen, 29, Wheeling, destruction of property, Tuesday.

Vehicle vandalism: Four tires on vehicle were cut while it was parked at a fieldhouse at Bethany College between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday.

Theft: A window of a vehicle parked at the Panhandle Trail in Colliers was broken and 15 compact discs taken early Saturday. The windows of a vehicle beside it also were damaged.
