Never Alone West Virginia

Never Alone West Virginia will host its third annual rally supporting a drug-free community Saturday at the Weirton Event Center.

Registration will begin at 5 p.m., with T-shirts available for a $15 donation.

Those performing or speaking during the event include the Weir High School cheerleaders, Michelle's Dance Studio, Casey Sisters Dance Studio, Deasah and Friends, Brad and Tammy Peck, Sen. Ed Bowman, Rich Muckle, Carrie Oliver Schultz, Eric Zaney, Carmen Capozzi and Spinning Jenny. Jasmine Lo will be mistress of ceremonies.

The event will include candle-lighting, a moment of silence and a butterfly release. Arcelor Mittal is scheduled to present a check to the group. Poster contest winners will be announced. Refreshments will be available.
