To the editor:
On Sept. 1, my father, Darold Cotton Sutphin, decided to take a stroll up town in Brilliant, at 6 a.m. My father has dementia. I just wanted to take a moment to thank all the members of the Brilliant Volunteer Fire Department and Wells Township Police Department. You men and women have a special place in my heart. Thank God for being raised in a small town. Everyone knows every one, and if they don't, they know your family's name.
Hopefully, in the future, they can find a cure for dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The nature of the illnesses are terrible.
To all the people past and present who have experienced loved one's suffering from one of the diseases and have taken care of them, you have my deepest respect, along with the entire Sutphin family.
