Arrested: Rhea J. Wagner, 34, 213 N. Fifth St., Toronto, brought to county jail by U.S. Marshals Service on a warrant out of Hancock County, Monday.

Ohio State Highway Patrol

Arrested: Beth Oyster, 37, 4600 county Road 75, Bergholz, operating a vehicle under the influence, reckless operation and public intoxication, Monday.

Brooke County sheriff

Arrested: Douglas A. Valero, 41, 929 Main St., Follansbee, driving under the influence and driving while suspended for DUI, Saturday.

Cited: Jessica L. DiBattista, 19, Follansbee, speeding.

Fight: Deputies were called to a fight involving several people in a field in McKinleyville at about 2:20 a.m. Sunday. The incident is under investigation and charges are pending.

Theft: Two semiautomatic pistols were taken from a vehicle on East Hills in Wellsburg between Sept. 3 and Friday.

Vehicle vandalism: The rear window of a pickup truck parked at Mustang Sally's on Eldersville Road was shattered and the cover of its bed torn by a large rock early Saturday.


Cited: Marilyn E. Batson, 37, 510 Euclid Ave., Toronto, speeding and no proof of insurance; Stanley G. Stoner, 64, 2824 Eldersville Road, Follansbee, expired registration and no proof of insurance; and Derek Robert Patterson, 22, East Palestine, no insurance.

Destruction of property: Vending machines at the girls softball field, K&J Skip & Go and Lyle's Auto were broken into on Sept. 1. Police are reviewing footage from surveillance cameras near the sites.
