Red Cross holding blood drive Friday at Sacred Heart

CHESTER - The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church Center located at Fourth and Indiana avenues.

St. Nicholas to hold lunch

WEIRTON - St. Nicholas Orthodox Church will hold a soup and sandwich lunch and bake sale, beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church located at 604 Colliers Way, across from the Weirton Medical Center.

The lunch includes choice of stuffed pepper, vegetable beef or cabbage soup, hot dog, and dessert. The cost is $6.

Rummage sale set

NEW CUMBERLAND - The Hancock County Museum's annual rummage sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the museum located at 1008 Ridge Ave.

The museum is accepting donations of items, with the exception of clothing, for the sale.

The event will include hundreds of items, and refreshments will be available. Parking and admission are free.

Church holding sale Oct. 6

FOLLANSBEE - The Follansbee Presbyterian Church will hold a fall rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 6.
