Homecoming festivities
Catholic Central High School will hold homecoming festivities Saturday including a 4 p.m. Mass in Lanman Hall and a parade from the school to Harding Stadium. The Rev. Jonas Shell, chaplain at the high school, will celebrate the Mass. Following the Mass, the marching band will be joined by the CCHS alumni band to perform at a pep rally in the school parking lot. Anyone interested in participating in the CCHS Alumni Band should contact Chris Simmons at the high school. Organizers said the CCHS Student Council will sponsor a fall pumpkin sale at the school from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The sale will include pumpkins, cornstalks, gourds and baked goods. The homecoming football game featuring Central against Connotton Valley is set for 7 p.m. Saturday. Preparing for the fall pumpkin sale are, from left, Monica Rigaud, Geno Taglione, Tony Barber, Harley Ehrman and Tony Godich.
