Pancake breakfast to benefit

Follansbee Middle students

STEUBENVILLE A pancake breakfast will be held from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at Applebees to benefit student activities at Follansbee Middle School.

The cost is $5 per person, which may be paid at the door.

Friends host the Country Tradition

COLLIERS?- The Country Friends will host Art Beal and The Country Tradition Saturday at the Memorial Hall located at 402 Old Police Lodge Road.

The doors open at 6 p.m, and the concert begins at 7 p.m.

Trash and treasure sale set

BRIDGEPORT, Ohio - St. Paul Lutheran Church will hold its annual trash and treasure sale from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 5-6 at the church located at 56381 National Road, across from Wilson Funeral Home.

Admission and parking are free.

Class of 1952 meeting

WEIRTON?- The Weir High School Class of 1952 meets at 10 a.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the Three Springs Drive Eat'n Park.

The next meeting will be Oct. 10.

Church holding chili cook-off

ELDERSVILLE, Pa. - The Eldersville United Methodist Church will hold its annual chili cook-off at 1 p.m. Nov. 3 on the front lawn of the church, located on Church Street.

There will be three categories: hot, mild and specialty, and those entering the contest can register until noon for a $10 donation.

Those attending the Eldersville Christmas in the Village Festival may taste-test and judge until 3:30 p.m. for a $1 donation per vote. The winner will be announced at 4 p.m. There will be one winner per category and an overall winner. For information, call the church at (724) 947-2589.
