Weirton man arrested over altercation at restaurant

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Anthony Sellitti Jr., 48, of Riverview Avenue, Weirton, was arrested for simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct Sept. 22 at Ditka's Restaurant located at 1 Robinson Plaza, according to Robinson Township (Allegheny County) Police.

According to police reports, Sellitti was attending a family function when he became involved in an altercation with his brother-in-law and attempted to strike the other man with a wine glass. During the confrontation, one of Sellitti's fingers was severed.

Sellitti then left the restaurant and went to UPMC Presbyterian, where he was treated and released. He was then taken into custody by Robinson Township Police, said Chief Dale Vietmeier.
