The following activities are happening in Bergholz:
-- Zumba is held at the Bergholz Volunteer Fire Department every Monday and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
-- Kid dances are planned at the fire station on Oct. 19 and Nov. 16 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Cost is $3.
-- Bergholz Ruritans will hold Bergholz Oktoberfest from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 14 behind the fire station. There will be food, entertainment and crafters. There will be a 50-50 drawing. Tickets are six for $5.
-- The Red Cross blood mobile will be at the Bergholz EMS building on Second Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 20.
-- The Bergholz Ruritans are planning a roast beef/roast port dinner Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station. Cost is by donation. All proceeds will go to the Bergholz Christian Emergency Fund and Bergholz Police Department.
-- The Ruritan turkey drawing will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 with five winners selected.
-- The community Thanksgiving service will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 at Faith Community Church.
-- There will be a free Thanksgiving dinner at Marshalls Restaurant from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 22.
-- Nov. 25 will bring the town lighting with Santa at 7 p.m., an event sponsored by the Ruritans and Women's Club.
-- A date will be announced for the Christmas craft show at the fire station.
-- The children's Christmas party with Santa will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at the fire station.
