KINGSLEY, Gary L., 76, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly a resident of Emlenton, PA and New Cumberland, WV, died October 4, 2012, in Albuquerque.
Gary was born on June 1, 1936, in Emlenton, the son of the late John M. and Grace Palm Kingsley.
Gary loved to spend time with his family, was an avid reader and he also loved to sing.
Gary had a 30-year career with Quaker State, starting and ending at the Emlenton Plant, with a number of years between spent at the Congo Plant in West Virginia. He retired in 2000.
Gary married Dorothy Rankin on June 1, 1954 and they had four children who survive him: Kathy White (Ron); Cindy Bell (Jim); Terri Norris (Jim); Wes Kingsley (Jody). Also surviving Gary are nine grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren, his wife Nancy, whom he married on December 23, 1988, three stepdaughters and their families.
His surviving siblings are: Bonnie Crawford of Henderson, Nevada; Judy Caldwell of Antioch, TN; James Kingsley of Seneca, PA, Jeff Kingsley of Clintonville, PA, and Greg Kingsley of Volant, PA.
Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton, from 6-9 p.m. Friday. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
