Museum to host Zielinsky
WEIRTON - The Weirton Museum and Cultural Center will host Tom Zielinsky and the Airstream Travel Club at 1 p.m. Friday when Zielinsky speaks about his book, "The Final Days of Weirton Steel." The public is welcome to attend.
Pharmacy providing shots for shut-ins
WEIRTON - Tri State Pharmacy will provide flu shots to area shut-ins Oct. 17.
"We know some area residents are challenged to get out of the house but need to be protected just the same," said JJ Bernabei, pharmacist.
Some insurances can be billed, including Medicare, Medicaid and private insurances.

KDKA-AM to host shale expo
Thursday in Cranberry
PITTSBURGH - KDKA-AM's third Western Pennsylvania Marcellus Shale Expo, presented by Range Resources, will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Regional Learning Alliance located at 850 Cranberry Woods Drive.
Panel discussions will be hosted by NewsRadio hosts Robert Mangino and Mike Pintek. Mangino will host a session on development and manufacturing at 10 a.m.; Pintek will broadcast his talk show from noon to 3 p.m. and host an environmental innovation panel at 4 p.m.
Panelist include Frank Brooks Robinson Jr., of the Governor's Action Team; Petra Mitchell from Catalyst Connection; 15th District Rep. Jim Christiana, R-Beaver, Alan Eichler of District Oil and Gas Operations; 35th District Rep. Marc Gergely, D-White Oak; John Ubinger of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council; and Matt Pitzarella, Range Resources director of corporate communications.
