to hold soup, sandwich lunch
WEIRTON - St. Nicholas Orthodox Church will hold a soup and sandwich lunch, beginning at 11 a.m., Thursday at the church located at 604 Colliers Way, across from the Weirton Medical Center.
Lunch includes a choice of Zuppa Toscana or Italian wedding soup, a barbecue ham sandwich and dessert. The cost is $6. For information or to make an order, call (304) 723-9746.
Senior center holding dance
WEIRTON - The Greater Weirton Senior Center will hold their "Third Thursday" dance Thursday.
The doors open at 5 p.m. Light Touch will perform, and the $5 entrance fee includes coffee, punch and hot dogs. Pumpkin roll sales have begun. The cost is $8 each. Call and place an order or stop in.

WEIRTON - St. Thomas Episcopal church will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church located at Three Spring and St. Thomas drives.
