Weirton Sanitary Board sets meeting
WEIRTON - The city's sanitary board will hold its October meeting on Thursday, while City Council has called a workshop session to discuss budget revisions.
The sanitary board will meet at 3:30 p.m. in its conference room, 5000 Freedom Way. That meeting originally had been set for Oct. 11, but was canceled due to a lack of quorum.
City Council, meanwhile, will look at possible revisions to the city's general fund and coal severance budgets for the 2012-13 fiscal year during a workshop session at 6:30 p.m. Monday. The workshop will be held in Room 201 at the City Building.
