Ron Pellen of Unique Walls and Ceilings of Wellsburg stenciled a brick pattern onto the new stucco-like facade of the exterior of the Beech Bottom Municipal Building. The $32,000 project is being funded by village funds and a $15,000 donation from Chesapeake Energy. It was initiated to address areas where the building’s brick exterior where chipping and to reduce heating costs for the structure. Efforts have been made to emulate the building’s original appearance, including a metal-roofed awning and light fixtures.
