Casey Sisters entertain Four Seasons

WEIRTON - First Vice President Angela Gillette presided over the Four Seasons Senior Citizens Association Oct. 17 at the Serbian American Cultural Center.

Chaplain Mary Rose Spano gave the invocation, and members recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang "God Bless America."

Following the dinner, members were entertained by the Casey Sisters School of Dance.

Josie Cekinovich read the September meeting minutes, and Assistant Treasurer Rose Mark gave her report. Reservation Chair Josie Cekinovich reviewed the cancellation policy and November menu.

Nominating Committee Chair Bob Burskey gave his report on those nominated to be the 2013 officers, including President Norma Yoho, First Vice President Roberta Burnett, Second Vice President Chris Sklenar, Secretary Tom Maxwell, Treasurer Rose Mark and Chaplain Mary Rose Spano. Members will vote at the November meeting.

Members recognized the birthday of Dolores Proakis and Glorianna Holtman and wedding anniversaries of Jim and Janet Orler, 43 years; Bob and Margey Burskey, 53 years; and Tony and Delores LaRosa, 56 years.

Marge Trinone sent get-well cards to Tina Rocchio, Charlie Fletcher, Armando D'Amico, Jim Orler, Virginia Roseberry and Lois Dick and a sympathy card to Mary Jane Barney.

Rose Barbara was awarded the complimentary club dinner. Tony LaRosa and Jim Orler won the 50/50 drawing. Dorothy Blankenship, Bob Deku; Margaret Chapman, Betty Lucas, Frances Oliver and Norma Yoho won door prizes.

Gillette reminded members that, because of the holidays, the November and December meetings will be held Nov. 14 and Dec. 12, respectively.
