Create-A-Room opens new display studio

WINTERSVILLE - Create-A-Room has opened a new display studio featuring American-made furniture from Klaussner Home Furnishings.

Klaussner, based in Asheboro, N.C., offers products ranging from American-made upholstered sofas and chairs to leather and reclining furniture. With more than 500 fabric options and 75 leather options, Klaussner's line of upholstered products gives shoppers the option of customizing their furniture with the fabric or leather of their choice.

"We are very excited to have such a large (display) of our North Carolina-made products in Create-A-Room in the Ohio Valley market," said Len Burke, vice president of marketing for Klaussner's. "The collaboration between Klaussner and Create-A-Room helps to sustain jobs within the USA, and we are proud to have them as a valued retail partner."

SHOWCASE — Create-A-Room, 110 Main St., Wintersville, now offers customers the convenience of shopping at a Klaussner Solutions Studio, a high-tech option for choosing fabrics and finishes. In addition to a wide array of American-made merchandise on display in store, there’s also an exclusive Solutions Center kiosk that allows customers to drape their favorite furniture item in a specific fabric or leather finish. It also allows customers to check availability as well as price while they’re still on the retail floor. Klaussner home furnishings are crafted in North Carolina. The new Klaussner studio also offers an exclusive Solutions Center kiosk, which gives customers the ability to drape the sofa of their choice and see a digital rendering of how the product will look prior to receiving their products. The technology also offers customers the ability to check stock availability as well as price from the retail floor, technology available only at Create-A-Room.

"The grand opening of the new Klaussner Solutions Studio in Create-A-Room gives (us) the ability to showcase many of our company's products," Burke said. "This store-within-a-store concept is a great way to segment our products while allowing shoppers the ability to customize our upholstered furniture with the fabric or leather of their choice."
