To the editor:
I recently spoke to a very religious woman about the health problems associated with the carcinogens in frac drilling fluids.
She said, "but wouldn't the government take care of this?" We must see that not enough is being done to protect public health and that we are responsible to put our prayers into action. The U.S. government is based on the responsible citizen, not the diffident, passive subject, but the vibrant, active and responsible citizen who is willing to speak out, to ensure domestic security.
There are politicians who have received large donations from energy companies. Destruction and death are the result of contamination. Is this pro-life? Absolutely not. Support health and life and do not accept lies and deceit.
