WEIRTON - The city's public works department will not provide garbage pickup to the downtown and Marland Heights areas today because of the weather and high winds in the interest of public safety and the safety of employees.
Garbage will be picked up Wednesday, and residents are asked to have their garbage at curb-side by 7 a.m. Wednesday. Garbage pickup will be one day behind for the rest of the city.
