PORTER, Brenda J., 55, of Cadiz, OH, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Trinity West.
She was born December 19, 1956, in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Dee Pierce Warder.
Brenda was a member of the Hopedale American Legion Post 682 Auxiliary, and an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan. She was a former employee of the Herald Star, and worked as a cashier for many years at various places.
Brenda was preceded in death by a brother, James "Jim Warder.
Surviving are her husband, Theodore Porter; son, Charles "Chase" (Tricia) Porter of Steubenville, OH; daughter, Sabrina (Bruce Merritt) Porter of Steubenville, OH; two sisters, Norma J. (Watson) Evans of Glen St. Mary, FL, and Boni W. (Doug) Peterson of Wintersville, OH; four grandchildren, Sierra, Bryson, Austyn and Allison Porter, all of Steubenville, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Bloomingdale United Methodist Church.
