NEW CUMBERLAND - The Hancock County Senior Services is looking for former "Rosie the Riveters" in Hancock County and the Tri-State Area.
As part of a Thanks Plain and Simple Inc. project, the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services is seeking these women so they can be interviewed by staff members. Hancock and Harrison counties are thought to have the greatest number of those women who took over factory and industry work during World War II, according to the bureau of senior services.
