NEW MANCHESTER - The Magnolia football team finished the regular season with a 48-13 victory over Oak Glen Friday night on Senior Night at the Bears Den.
The Blue Eagles are to 9-1 and will be the No. 2 seed in the West Virginia Class A playoffs.
"We ran into a very-good team," first-year Oak Glen Ian Whittington said. "They are a great football team. They are a very disciplined. They are well-coached. Coach (Mark) Batton does all of the right things."

Drew Keller led the way for the Blue Eagles with 189 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries. Keller also recorded four catches for 50 yards.
Magnolia opened the scoring when Cage Deem hauled in a 4-yard pass from Tanner Hanna. Clemens Raitmayr recorded the extra point for a 7-0 lead.
Drew Keller hauled in a 29-yard reception to go along with a 28-yard run down to the Oak Glen 7 on the drive.

The Blue Eagles' second score came on a 12-yard pass from Hannah to Ryan Walton for a 13-0 cusion.
The touchdown was set up by a 38-yard punt return by standout Stephen Rogalski down to the Golden Bears' 23-yard line.
Hanna was 11-of-17 for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Rogalski caught three passes for 43 yards. He also ran three times for 30 yards.
Keller scored three-rushing touchdowns to put the Blue Eagles up 34-0 late in the third quarter.
Keller's first score came on a 1-yard run for a 20-0 lead with 1:15 left to play in the first half.
Keller's second score covered 16 yards for a 27-0 advantage with 5:54 left to play in the third quarter.
His third score came on a 3-yard run and a 34-0 lead with 3:15 left to play in the third quarter.
The Blue Eagles totaled 407 yards of offense on 57 plays. Magnolia ran for 260 yards on 40 carries.
The Golden Bears ended up with 200 yards on 45 plays. Oak Glen rushed for 152 yards on 34 carries. The hosts also threw for 48 yards.
"Our seniors have meant everything to the program with their hard work and dedication," Whittington said. "They provide a lot of leadership. They led the younger guys. They are helping to shape my program."
Oak Glen got on the scoreboard on a 1-yard run by backup quarterback Chase Hartley. Josh Weltner converted the extra point to make the score 34-7 with 35.6 seconds left to play in the third stanza.
The touchdown was set by a 52-yard run by Clayton Flowers to the 4. Flowers ended up with 72 yards on six carries.
The Golden Bears followed the touchdown with an onside kick, and Hartley recovered the ball at the Magnolia 49.
Zack Staley capped the drive with a 2-yard run making the score 34-13. Weltner's PAT sailed wide, keeping Magnolia up 21 points with 10:15 left to play in the game.
Weltner caught three passes for 48 yards for Oak Glen.
"There were a lot of mistakes made this year," Whittington said. "We are going to try and learn from those mistakes. There were a lot of good things that happened, and there were a lot of bad things that happened. We are going to learn from those mistakes."
