The Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra will perform at 3 p.m. Dec. 2 at the First Christian Church located at 3252 Main St., Weirton. A reception will be held immediately following the performance. This is the orchestra’s fourth annual performance at the church. The orchestra was founded in 2002 by Alan Epstein and the founding 15 musicians gave the first public performance in April 2003. It is now the largest mandolin orchestra in the country and includes more than 40 active musicians of all ages and backgrounds.
