KIRK, John G., was born August 12, 1936, at Winterville, OH, son of John E. and Nelva (Johns) Kirk.
He departed this life on November 7, 2012, at his home at Long Lane, MO.
He was a retired truck driver, Army Veteran and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Norma (Hall) of 26 years; two sons: Ruben C and (Gwen) Kirk and Donald M. Kirk of Wylie, TX; one daughter, Tina M. Platt of Sugarcreek, OH; six grandchildren: Donald II, Zeke, Austin, Candy, Deanna, and Nevaeh; his stepmother, Cora M. Kirk; a brother, Jim (Sharon) Kirk; four sisters: Bonnie (Howard) Mellendorf, Susan (Donald) Weimer, Vickie (Mike) Grant, Joann Cicone, and several nieces and nephews,
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepfather, Ruben Loy, and sister, Kay Banks.
