Betty J. Hoover Hall Horner, formerly of Brilliant, OH, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012, in the Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights, OH.
She was born March 7, 1937, in Brilliant, OH, a daughter of the late Clarence and Grace (Singleton) Hoover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step- mother, Dorothy Hoover; her first husband, George I. Hall, in 1977 and her second husband, James F. Horner, Sr., in 2002.
Betty was a retired Ward Helper at the former Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, OH and a member of the Two Ridge Church of Christ in Wintersville.
Surviving are two sons, Don Hall and his wife, Debbie of Delaware, OH, and Terry Hall formerly of Brilliant, currently of Broadview Heights, OH; two daughters, Janet Hall and Susan Norris both of Maple Heights, OH; a brother, Jack Hoover and his wife, Alice of Brilliant, OH and two grandsons, Ryan and Brent Hall.
Friends will be received on Friday, November 23 from 11 a.m. until the time of her funeral services at 1 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, with Pastor Imre Gulyas, officiating.
Private interment will follow at New Alexandria Cemetery.
