Kelsey Hayward will portray Charles Dickens during the Hancock County Museum’s “Dickens in December” event from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 9 and 16 at the museum located at 1008 Ridge Ave., New Cumberland. Hayward will read from “A Christmas Carol,” and the museum, built in 1887, will be decorated for a Victorian Christmas. Victorian Carolers will perform, and light refreshments will be served.
