WELLSBURG - Rosemarie Pareso, 82, of Wellsburg has been identified as the woman who died following a two-vehicle collision on state Route 27 Tuesday afternoon.
The Brooke County Sheriff's Department has confirmed Pareso died after being transported by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital.
The sheriff's department also reported the other driver, Thomas Morrisette, was transported by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries to Ohio Valley Medical Center.
The accident, which occurred at a dip in the road near Painter Run, remains under investigation.
