Man sentenced for probation violation
STEUBENVILLE - Myron D. Gibson, 29, of Hopedale, was sentenced by Jefferson County Common Pleas Judge David Henderson on Monday to six months in the Eastern Ohio Correction Center for a probation violation, which resulted in Gibson being kicked out of the EOCC.
Gibson on Nov. 29 pleaded guilty to an amended indictment charging attempted robbery. He then was sentenced to three months in EOCC. A week later, the county prosecutor's office filed a motion for Gibson's probation to be revoked based on Gibson making arrangements to have drugs brought into the EOCC.
