Dec. 14

Steven Murray, New Cumberland, charge of domestic battery dismissed at prosecutor's request.

Jeffrey Mitchell Sr., Follansbee, pleaded no contest to domestic battery and was found guilty. Sentenced to 30 days in jail and assessed court costs. Charge of kidnapping dismissed at prosecutor's request.

Daniel Wells, Weirton, pleaded no contest to obstructing an officer and was found guilty. Sentenced to eight days in jail and assessed court costs.

James Edwards, Allen, Ky., pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an injury accident. Sentence of one year in jail suspended. Placed on one year unsupervised probation, with an additional 30 consecutive days in jail. Assessed court costs and $2,500 for the victim assistance fund.

Dec. 12

David Nolder, New Manchester, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. Sentence of 30 days in jail suspended. Placed on seven months' unsupervised probation. Fined $500 and assessed court costs and a $35 probation fee. Charge of speeding dismissed at prosecutor's request.

Domonique Rocchio, Weirton, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. Sentence of 30 days in jail suspended. Placed on seven months' unsupervised probation. Fined $350 and assessed court costs and a $35 probation fee. Charge of driving left of center dismissed at prosecutor's request.

Andrew Chambers, Rogers, Ohio, found guilty of speeding. Fined $50 and assessed court costs.

Jeremiah Pauley, New Cumberland, pleaded guilty to striking a highway fixture, failure to maintain control and reckless driving. Fined $50, $100 and $500, respectively, and assessed court costs. Charges of driving under the influence (aggravated), leaving the scene of an accident, assault on an officer and obstructing an officer dismissed a prosecutor's request.

Dec. 10

Tracie Sauceman, Youngstown, charge of possession of a controlled substance dismissed at prosecutor's request.

Kaitlin Volger, Follansbee, pleaded no contest to possession of a controlled substance and was found guilty. Sentence of six months in jail suspended. Placed on one year unsupervised probation. Assessed court costs and a $5-a-month probation fee. Pleaded no contest to obstructing an officer and was found guilty. Sentence of six months in jail suspended. Placed on one year unsupervised probation, to run concurrent with other charge. Assessed court costs and a probation fee.
