Arrested: Edward M. Walker, 31, 3100 Orchard St., Weirton, two counts of theft, Sunday. Walker was apprehended in the Hollywood Center Kroger parking lot with a shopping cart containing a case of beer, jeans and video games. Police said six additional cases of beer were found in Walker's car.
Arrested: Kristiel Hailstones, 38, no fixed address, criminal trespassing, Sunday.
Arrested: Alex C. Evans, 27, 1240 Oregon Ave., Steubenville, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, Sunday. He also was cited for having no registration light and no operator's license. Police said the weapon, a 9 mm Luger with a live round and eight more in an ammo clip, was in the glove box of the vehicle Evans was operating.
Arrested: James C. Bainbridge, 30, no fixed address, one count of receiving stolen property and two counts of misuse of a credit card, Sunday.
Arrested: Mario Cortez Allen, 23, Chicago, obstruction of official business, Sunday.
Arrested: Stephen Thomas, 41, RR 1, Colliers Way, Weirton, menacing, Friday.
Assault: A resident in the 1400 block of Ridge Avenue was attacked by a screwdriver-wielding subject known to her, Sunday.
