Weirton Daily Times

I thought I would end the year with some movie trivia.

The American Film Institute compiled a list of the top 100 quotes from movies. The following 30 quotes were taken from that list and broken into three categories.

Take the quiz to test your movie IQ. Good luck.

Name the movie:

1. "I'll have what she's having."

2. Striker: "Surely you can't be serious." Rumack: "I am serious...and don't call me Shirley."

3. "Who's on first?"

4. "What we've got here is failure to communicate."

5. "Badges? We ain't got no badges! We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you any stinking badges!"

6. "Today, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the Earth."

7. "One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I don't know."

8. "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!"

9. "They're here!"

10. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning."

Name the character:

1. "After all, tomorrow is another day!"

2. "I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!"

3. "My precious."

4. "Hasta la vista, baby."

5. "Elementary, my dear Watson."

6. "Yo, Adrian!"

7. "Rosebud."

8. "E.T. phone home."

9. "All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up."

10. "We rob banks."

Name the actor/actress

1. "Toga! Toga!"

2. "Show me the money!"

3. "Greed, for lack of a better word, is good."

4. "Here's Johnny!" --

5. "Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary."

6. "Say 'hello' to my little friend!"

7. "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine."

8. "Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night."

9. "Stella! Hey, Stella!"

10. "They call me Mister Tibbs!"

How'd you do? I'd say if you knew all 30, you watch too many movies.
