CARROLL, Rejeana Lois "Beannie," 58, of Glouster, surrounded by her family, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at 10:40 p.m. at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, after a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

She worked at the William Brooks Shoe Company in Nelsonville for many years, the Glouster Sundry Store, and was the supervisor of the Glouster Community Bank Drive Thru for several years. She was most noted for her love, compassion, and dedication to her family. She loved roses, working in her flower beds, sewing, cooking, family vacations, playing the accordion, dancing, shopping, but above all, she loved helping others. She made a difference to everyone who knew her. She never met a stranger and could talk to anyone.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, William "Bill" Carroll, whom she married March 6, 1970, in Shinniston, WV; two daughters, Rejeana "Jeannie" (Michael) Palma of Steubenville and Saprina (Heath) Moore of Glouster; seven grandchildren, Emily, Michael, Madison, and Mackenzie Palma and Zayne, Myla and the late Branson Moore; siblings, Vern (the late Sharon) Brooks, Elijah (Diane) Brooks, David Brooks (companion Tanya), Daniel (Karen) Brooks, Zeke (Jane) Brooks, Abby (Dodstill) Dempsey, Martha Jones (companion Joe), and Sam Brooks; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Sherry Carroll, Sis and Ed Strawser, and Pam and Dave Harvey; several much loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and special friends and dear neighbors, Dayne and the late Carolyn Bickley.
