Ralph Candelaria

CANDELARIA, Ralph N., 94, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed Tuesday January 15, 2013, at his home, peacefully, surrounded by his family.

He was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on October 29, 1918, a son of the late Paul and Marcella Martinez Candelaria.

He was a retired employee of Ohio Nut and Washer, Mingo Junction, a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree; and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Ralph was loved by all who knew him. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was so very special and truly a beautiful and kind soul.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca; a daughter, Lucy Marovich, and a great-grandson, Colin.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Concetta Carrocci Candelaria; daughters, Rebecca (Philip) Altieri, Denise (Bob) Galownia, Carol (Ed) Candelaria-Connors; a son, Ralph Candelaria Jr.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Friday, January 18, 2013 from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Mingo Junction, Ohio, with Rev. James M. Dunfee, as celebrant.
