WEIRTON - The Weirton Woman's Club, a General Federation of West Virginia Women's Club member organization, will host a personal safety strategy seminar, "Refuse to Be a Victim" at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mary H. Weir Public Library on Main Street.
The National Rifle Association-sponsored program is a two-hour seminar on personal safety tips and techniques on avoiding dangerous situations and avoiding becoming a victim.
Certified Instructor Tammy West will present the seminar, including topics such as home, personal and automotive security and workplace technological security.
Pre-registration is requested, but is not required, according to organizers.
