DILLONVILLE - The Buckeye Local School District's early childhood education and kindergarten 2013-14 registrations are planned on the following dates:
March 12 - South Elementary.
March 13 - North Elementary.
March 14 - West Elementary.
Early childhood education service may be for pupils who are 3 years, 6 months old on or before Sept. 30. To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be age 5 on or before Sept. 30.
The registrations are set from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Children do not need to attend; however, parents or a guardian must have a copy of the child's birth certificate, Social Security number and immunization records.
Incomplete immunization records can be taken care of through a family physician or through the Jefferson County Health Department from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. each Tuesday.
Pupils already attending the early childhood education in the district do not need to register for kindergarten.
Pupils with incomplete immunization records and/or required documentation forms will be placed on a waiting list for registration. Registration will be completed when all required forms are on file, officials said.
