WEIRTON - President Joann Bugin called the Feb. 12 AARP Chapter 3846 meeting to order, followed by Virginia Kucan giving the invocation and members reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and God Bless America.
Guests Roy Marker, John Grimm, Delia Egan and Linda Moss were introduced, and Chuck and Josi Elliott and Emily Waggle were welcomed back.
Bettye Williamson introduced Dave Walker Martini Time. Roz and Lynn, a mother-daughter vocal duo, will be the March 11 meeting entertainment.
Joann Bugin asked for a volunteer to take over decorating chair.
Secretary Barbara Purks and Treasurer Frank Fazio gave reports, which were approved as read.
Sunshine Chair Mary Rose Spano sent get-well cards to Hank Adamczyk, Mario Perito, Bob Thompson, Joyce Dobbs, Claire French, Watus Gory, Lester Stuckmeyer, Chuck Bugin, Bea Bishop, Nancy Tournay, Carol Weiher, Dianna Crago and Steve Rzepka. Richard and Joyce Dobbs were sent a sympathy card.
Members acknowledged the February birthdays of Barb McCoy, Mary Householder and Roy Marker and anniversaries of Dean and Katy Allen and George and Virginia Kucan.
Membership is at 132 members, with 77 in attendance and four guests.

Barb McCoy reported the penny jar collected $11.55 in November and $8.60 in December to be given to the senior center.
The Auditing Committee, including John Pandelios and Ernie Nicholas, finished the audit and complimented Frank Fazio on his records.
Kathryn Hardsauk and her committee presented gifts to Nancy Fridley, Norma Boni, Eva Fabianich, Liz Messerly, Marie Straight, Bettye Williamson, Joann Clark, Linda Moss, Loretta Nicholas, Peggy Sweeney, Barbara Visnic, Virginia Riley, Richard Dobbs, Viola Blanc, Katy Allen, Howard Kerr, Ruth Daugherty, Martha Varitek, Ruth Sperry and Grace Lenhart.
