WTOV-TV Meteorologist Jeff Oechslein and Snowbird visited New Manchester Elementary School Feb. 12 and were guests at a school-wide assembly, where Oechslein read the children a book and answered questions and Snowbird posed for pictures. Principal Cindy Virtue presented Oechslein with a cake, Bearcat magnet and New Manchester Elementary T-shirt, and students welcomed the duo with signs and artwork. -- Contributed
