NEW CUMBERLAND - City Ward 2 Councilman Shawn Marks spoke to the New Cumberland Lions Club about upgrades to the city sidewalks and to state Route 2, in order to handle increased truck traffic.

At the south end of the city, there are concerns about road stability, and Marks suggested residents concerned about the roads contact their state senators and representatives. The secretary's and treasurer's reports were accepted as read. Lion Bob Manypenny reported on the paper drive, and there were 10 vehicles and 17 Lions participating.
