To the editor:
I am writing in regards to the failure of the Edison Local School District levy. How many times do we have to vote "no" before the school district comes up with some other plan? How much money does it cost the school district to put these levies on the ballot.
I did not know we were voting on this levy again until the night before the special election, and I resent the school district sneaking it onto the ballot when they think nobody is paying attention.
I am a senior citizen. I cannot afford to pay for a school levy, and I resent being asked time and time again. I also resent those who write letters telling me what a bad person I am for not passing a school levy.
My vote was "no" and it will be "no" the next time.
