WEIRTON - The Weir High Class of 1953 reunion meeting has been canceled.
Country Friends to
hold dance
COLLIERS - The Country Friends will host Bobby Brandt and The Eldurays Saturday at the Memorial Hall located at 402 Old Police Lodge Road.
The doors open at 6 p.m., and the dance begins at 7 p.m.
On Monday and Fridays, the group holds a covered-dish dinner and open mic night. The doors open at 4 p.m., the meal begins at 5 p.m. and open mic begins at 6 p.m.

WEIRTON - The Weir High Class of 1957 will hold their monthly social at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Three Springs Drive Eat'n Park.
All classmates, spouses and friends are welcome.
Sands of Time
to perform
WEIRTON - The Sands of Time will perform from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday at the Greater Weirton Senior Center located on Main Street.
The doors open at 5 p.m. The cover charge is $5.
Emanuel Baptist
holding concert
ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio - The Emanuel Baptist Church will host contemporary Christian band A Joyful Noise, featuring vocalist Linda Dickinson, and bluegrass gospel band The Coleman Family from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the church located at 50470 National Road.

Newcomers Club
set to meet
ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio - The Wheeling Newcomers Club will hold its monthly meeting at 10:30 a.m. March 14 at the Belmont Hills Country Club.
The program will feature Nikki Lenz from Nicky's Garden Center and Landscaping.
She will discuss the company's history and give spring planting and decorating tips. Lunch is $15 per person and reservations should be made by calling Marilyn Rabinowitz at (304) 243-0164 by Sunday.
Membership is open to all women new to the area.
