The Jefferson County Historical Association, marking its 40th year in 2013, will open the Vivian Snyder Library on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It will be open and staffed every Wednesday and Thursday during those hours from now through Thanksgiving.
The museum will be open for tours by prior reservation.
"We ask a 50-cent-per-hour donation to use the library and a $2 per person donation to tour the 19-room museum," said Charlie Green, second vice president of the association.
The museum and library are located at 426 Franklin Ave., Steubenville.
