WINTERSVILLE - If you check "made in" labels before buying, Larry's All American is the place for you.

The shop, located at 215 Main St., sells everything from tools and housewares to toys, jeans and T-shirts, all of them made here in the U.S.

"I've been thinking about this for quite a few years," said Foldi, a Bloomingdale resident. "I'm tired of picking things up and seeing 'Made in China.' I thought I'd give people a chance to buy something 'Made in the U.S.A."

"We have quality products at reasonable prices, American-made products that you can walk in and purchase," he said.

He said it's a different kind of shopping experience, but one people seem to appreciate.

"From the response we've had, people going past and the ones who've walked in, I think we're getting a positive response," he said.

Wintersville Council President Robert Martin Sr. said it's the kind of thing they like to see in the village.

"We always appreciate new business in Wintersville," he said. "I think a store of this nature is very unique, there's nothing like it around here. We're business-friendly in Wintersville."
